Okaya EV teased a new electric scooter on its social media site. The scooter will be called Faast F3 and will go on sale on February 10th. This is their fourth electric scooter in the portfolio and will be priced at Rs. 1,13,999. The scooter is equipped with a 1200W motor delivering 2500W peak power.
The scooter has two batteries. It is a 3.5kWh lithium-ion LFP battery. There are also switchable technologies to extend battery life. So far, not much is known about the Okaya Fast F3.
Other Okaya electric scooters include Faast F4, Freedum, and ClassIQ. Faast F4 is equipped with two 72V 30Ah LFP batteries. The company claims a range of 140-160 km. The battery supports fast charging. Speaking of charging, the charging time is 5-6 hours. Also, it has three driving modes (Eco, City, and Sport) and a top speed of 60-70 km/h. It has a combined braking system and all LED lighting. The Okaya Faast F4 has priced at INR 1.09 lakh (excluding showrooms).
Then there is the Freedum which comes with a single 48V 30Ah Lithium battery pack. The cruising range is 70-75km, and the charging time is 5-6 hours. There are no driving modes, but there are halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights. It is a low-speed scooter with a maximum speed of 25km/h. Okaya Freedum is priced at Rs. 74889 (old showroom).
ClassIQ has the same battery pack as Freedum. So, it is a 48V 30Ah lithium battery that claims a range of 60-70km. It has a top speed of 25 km/h but has all LED lighting with LED daytime running lights. The Okaya ClassIQ is priced at INR 74,499 (excluding showrooms).
