Kinetic Luna 50 cc moped was introduced by Kinetic Engineering in 1975 In India
With a sleek and modern design, the Kinetic Luna Electric may come at an affordable price of just INR 50,000 this is designed to complement any home. These prices are yet to be confirmed by the company.
It will be powered by a 1KW motor and will have a battery that can last for over 70-80km on a single charge. The possible top speed of E-Luna can be 25 km/h.
There will be several special features in the Kinetic Luna, including an electric self-start system, LED headlights, DRLs, and a digital instrument console that can be USB-charged.
In the month of September, Kinetic green energy and power solutions launched its two-wheeler electric version called Zing e-scooter at Rs 85,000 including the FAME II subsidy. The Zing e-scooter comes with a 3.4kW lithium-ion battery that comes with a range of 125km/charge. The top speed of this scooter is 60kmph.

The company said all of KEL’s assemblies will be finished and painted in Ahmednagar. To make the process more efficient, the company has installed more than 30 welding machines in a special shop. It has invested over INR 3 crore in upgrading its paint shop, press, and fabrication shops.
Ajinkya Firodia the Managing director of KEL said, “KEL is emerging as a one-stop shop for all the major mechanical subassemblies for electric two and three-wheelers, which have witnessed explosive growth over the past 12 months.”
