Jupiter Electric Mobility launched Two commercial electric vehicles at the Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida on Thursday and will go on sale this year as well. Electric Mobility is a division of Jupiter Wagons Ltd, a producer of high-speed brake systems, railroad, and technical equipment, as well as trailers.
Announcing its entry into the commercial electric vehicle market, Jupiter Electric Mobility showcased the e-LCVs JEM TEZ of 2.2 tons and EV STAR CC of 7 tons GVW in the presence of its dignitaries.
It was noted that EV Star CC is entirely produced entirely in China, while the Jupiter TEZ is entirely built in India.
The 2.2-ton JEM TEZ EV can go up to a range of 100 kilometers on a single charge and can be fully charged in 20 minutes.
According to Jupiter Electric Mobility, the electric vehicle will be prepared for use on public roadways by the mid of this year.
The price is not yet disclosed by the company.
The commercial electric vehicles will initially target the major metros of Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Bangalore, which will mainly focus on the demands for last-mile delivery.
Additionally, Jupiter Mobility has formed a strategic partnership with the North American-based Green Power Motor Company, which specializes in commercial vehicles for the passenger and freight transportation markets.
