An Indian-born electric vehicle start-up with a growing presence in the world of high-speed racing platforms. With its 2-W electric motorsport F99 factory racing platform, Ultraviolette will enter the motorsport world.
It is India’s first high-performance electric motorsport. In the EV motorcycle space, as well as in the wider mobility space, this will facilitate innovation. The brand hopes to incorporate racing techniques into its future products.
The Bangalore-based start-up was very excited to unveil its latest concept at Auto EXPO. This product is based on the same platform that the F77 is built on. The F77 is the country’s first high-performance electric motorcycle and the most expensive at the moment.
According to the company, the F99 Factory Racing platform will produce 65 bhp as its maximum output. Additionally, it can reach a top speed of 200 km/hr. The body of the F99 is made of carbon composites. The F99 Platform delivers superior performance and efficiency thanks to its advanced battery technology, divertrain engineering, material innovation, and leveraging principles of high-speed aerodynamics.
India’s first electric motorsport bike was inspired by the aviation and racing industries. Ultraviolette co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam talks about how the F99 pushes the world of racing, pushing the boundaries of innovation and inspiring “think beyond conventional technology in the EV space today.”
