Automaker Hyundai increased the price of its electric vehicle Ioniq 5 by Rs 1 lakh.
Hyundai launched its second electric car Ioniq 5 in India at the 2023 auto expo. At the time of launch, the introductory price of Ioniq 5 was of Rs 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom). These rates were valid for the first 500 customers. After launch, within a month, the Ioniq 5 has already gathered over 650 bookings and now the introductory offer has come to an end.
New price of Ioniq 5 now start from Rs 45.95 lakh – a price hike of Rs 1 lakh(ex-showroom).
Hyundai Ioniq 5 is Rs 16 lakh cheaper than Kia EV6.
The Ioniq 5 is offered in only one variant – the Long Range RWD. The Long Range RWD is available with an Electric (Battery) engine and Automatic transmission. The colour availability are- Midnight Black Pearl, Optic White and Gravity Gold Matte.
The Ioniq 5 is powered by a 72.6kWh battery, and ARAI certified range of 631km on a single charge. The Ioniq 5 is available only in rear-wheel-drive configuration, with its electric motor producing 217hp and 350Nm of torque. It is also capable of supporting superfast 800V charging, which can charge the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
About the features, it gets several advanced features like Hyundai Smart Sense level 2 ADAS, next-gen Bluelink connected car tech, panoramic sunroof, heated & ventilated seats, electric seats, V2L (Vehicle to Load) power sharing, memory seats, Home-to-car (H2C) with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant, etc.
