Ultraviolette F77 Ballistic Plus mode

Ultraviolette Automotive has once again raised the benchmark in the electric two-wheeler segment with the introduction of Ballistic+, a high-performance upgrade for the F77, powered by its new Gen3 Powertrain Firmware.

The update, born out of over 8 million kilometres of real-world riding data, brings a significant leap in ride dynamics, responsiveness, and overall electric performance and the best part? It’s available to all existing F77 customers at no additional cost.

What’s New: Ballistic+, Gen3, and Violette A.I.

  • Introduction of ‘Ballistic+’ Performance Mode
Designed to deliver sharper throttle response and more explosive initial acceleration, taking electric performance to the next level.

  • Launch of Gen3 Powertrain Firmware
Built using insights from over 8 million km of real-world riding data, improving motor control and overall ride dynamics.

  • Smarter Riding with Violette A.I.
The onboard intelligence system now interprets 3,000+ real-time data points to continuously optimize the bike’s performance.

  • Free Firmware Upgrade for All Existing Customers
The Gen3 Powertrain Firmware and Ballistic+ are backwards-compatible and offered at no additional cost to all F77 owners.

  • Improved Responsiveness Across All F77 Variants
Every F77—regardless of purchase date—will now feel quicker, smarter, and more thrilling to ride.

Following the major MACH 2 upgrade in 2024, which introduced safety-focused features like Dynamic Stability Control (UVDSC), 10 levels of regenerative braking, and Violette A.I., Ultraviolette has now shifted its focus to raw performance.

Ballistic+ is a result of deep learning from Violette A.I., the company’s connected intelligence platform, which analyzed rider behavior, throttle patterns, and road conditions to recalibrate the F77’s performance envelope.

The Gen3 Powertrain Firmware works in synergy with the F77’s onboard Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), which continuously tracks over 3,000 data points in real time.

This intelligent system enables the new firmware to push the limits of the battery and drivetrain, offering sharper throttle response, quicker acceleration, and an electrifying power surge that redefines what electric motorcycles can do.

“While others may practice planned obsolescence, we believe in the opposite. We envision a machine that learns, evolves, and unlocks more power the longer you own it,” said Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette.

Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-founder, added, “This is a breakthrough in electric performance. From the VCU to the motor controller, every component has been fine-tuned to extract maximum potential from the F77.”

A Smarter, Sharper F77 for All

Ultraviolette isn’t just looking forward — it’s taking care of its early adopters, too. Ballistic+ and the Gen3 firmware are backwards-compatible and will be rolled out to all existing F77 variants, ensuring that every rider, regardless of when they purchased their bike, can experience the next level of performance without spending a rupee.

This move reflects the brand’s core philosophy — continuous evolution and rider-first innovation — in stark contrast to the industry’s tendency to make older products obsolete.
