Design and Features of Thar Electric SUV

The forthcoming Thar EV, as evident by design patents, will adopt a futuristic and aesthetically appealing five-door model. Retaining the square-ish elements, upright features, and sharp creases from the concept, the electric SUV will showcase distinctive design elements. The front fascia will boast square-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights, a Thar.e lettering on the grille, and triple horizontal LED light slats. Complemented by prominent wheel arches and stylish alloy wheels, the Thar EV’s exterior design will feature muscular front and rear bumpers. Inside the cabin, expect a two-spoke octagonal-shaped steering wheel, a sizable touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options, and an all-digital instrument console. The front and rear bench seats will showcase squarish patterns, with the front seat featuring a connected headrest and the rear one having a headrest mounted on the roof.

Delving further into the interior features of the Thar EV, the cabin will offer a modern and well-equipped environment. The two-spoke octagonal-shaped steering wheel, reminiscent of the concept, adds a touch of sophistication. The all-digital instrument console enhances the tech-forward feel of the SUV. In terms of seating, both the front and rear bench seats will showcase distinctive squarish patterns. Expected Performance 

While Mahindra has not yet disclosed precise specifications and range details for the Thar.e, various sources have put forth expectations regarding its performance. Here are some expected performance details:

Range – 400-450 km 
Battery Pack– Thar.e will is expected to utilize a sizable battery pack along with dual electric motors, with the assumption being that one motor will power each axle, creating a four-wheel-drive system 
Launch Timeline– Mahindra Thar Electric (Thar.e) is expected to launch in 2025 along with other cars called – BE.05, BE.07, BE.09, BE. RALL-E, XUV.e8, XUV.e9. So a host of electric cars is expected to arrive in 2025 from Mahindra & Mahindra.
