
Triton Electric Vehicle LLC has received its first UAE license plate for an electric truck, becoming one of the first EV truck makers to achieve official registration in the country. The move marks the start of Triton’s commercial rollout across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The approved truck, designed for urban logistics and cargo transport, is built to suit regional climate conditions and charging infrastructure. Triton EV operates out of Ras Al Khaimah and has partnered with W Motors to scale local manufacturing and innovation, including work on hydrogen engine technology.
