BYD India will soon launch its third electric Premium SUV the BYD eMax7. The eMAX 7 is an upgraded version of the e6 MPV. The BYD eMAX 7 is expected to launch in India on October 8, 2024. The price of BYD eMax 7 is assumed to be starting from Rs.30 lakh.
The BYD eMax 7 will offer versatile seating with options for six or seven passengers, unlike the e6, which only had a 5-seater layout. Although this will reduce cargo space, the upgraded leatherette upholstery provides a more premium feel.
Additionally, the eMax 7 will feature a 12.8-inch rotating infotainment screen, a fixed panoramic glass roof, and an ADAS suite for safety. Mahindra XUV. e8 is the next upcoming car on our list. The Mahindra XUV. e8 will be the first new electric SUV to be launched, and it will come in December 2024. The price of Mahindra XUV.e8 is expected to be Rs. 35-40 Lakh.
A sister car to the ICE XUV700 of today, the XUV. e8 will retain that car’s basic shape, size, and seven-seat layout. However, it will be built using the INGLO skateboard platform and it will also get the new INGLO electronic architecture inside.
The XUV.e8 will feature a rear-mounted electric motor producing 231PS of power and 380Nm of torque, with a rear-wheel-drive setup. Additionally, the XUV.e series will be equipped with Valeo motors. Mahindra Electric has not revealed any more details about the XUV, e8. All the details will be revealed upon launch.
