After a long gap, Revolt Motors is back in the spotlight with the launch of its latest electric motorcycle, the Revolt RV1.
This new model targets the commuter segment and follows the company’s earlier success with the RV300, India’s first electric motorcycle.
The RV1 is now positioned as the country’s first commuter motorcycle, available in two variants: RV1 and RV1 Plus. The base model is priced at Rs 84,990, while the Plus version is available for Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom).
The RV1 offers a 2.2 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 100 km, while the RV1 Plus comes with a larger 3.24 kWh battery, extending the range to 160 km.
Here are some of the key specifications of the newly launched RV1 Electric Motorcycle:
The Revolt RV1 features a sleek yet practical design, ideal for urban commuters. At the front, it sports a circular LED headlamp, complemented by a smoked windscreen, giving it a modern yet understated appearance.
The sides are fitted with plastic fairing, while the rear includes a single-piece seat with distinctive V-shaped taillights. The seat is touted to be the longest seat in its class, making it comfortable for both rider and pillion.
The RV1 comes equipped with a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride. For braking, it features disc brakes on both ends, adding to its safety and performance capabilities.
Revolt has kept the design simple, focusing on functionality and practicality for daily commuting.
