Renault reinforced its push toward electric mobility by unveiling performance and classic Electric vehicles.
The company unveiled a premium electric car but, another remarkable vehicle that shared the spotlight—was a stylish electric scrambler motorcycle called the Heritage Spirit Scrambler. Priced at EUR 23,340 (Rs 21.2 lakh), the bike’s steep cost reflects its handmade, limited-production status, making it a collector’s item for enthusiasts.
This electric motorcycle, named Heritage Spirit Scrambler, was created by Ateliers Heritage Bikes, a French startup based in Poisy, near Annecy. Available for pre-order with deliveries expected in the spring of 2025, the motorcycle will be sold in two versions: Standard and 50.
The 50 version, priced at EUR 23,450, is restricted to a top speed of 45 km/h, designed to meet the AM driving license requirements in Europe for individuals aged sixteen and above.
From a design standpoint, the Heritage Spirit Scrambler presents a neo-retro scrambler style with detailed craftsmanship. It features a compact LED headlight with integrated DRLs, a single-piece ribbed leather seat, and a wide handlebar with circular bar-end mirrors.
Additionally, it boasts a traditional fuel-tank-like design, paired with a smooth battery casing for a vintage appeal.
The Standard Heritage Spirit Scrambler, which costs EUR 24,950, offers a top speed of 99 km/h and requires either an A1 license or an extension of a B196 car driving license.
While the pricing is undoubtedly high, its handcrafted nature and limited production run contribute to its exclusivity, making it a sought-after piece for collectors.
