MG Windsor EV Launched in India at Rs. 9.99 Lakh

Morris Garages (MG) Motor India has officially launched its new electric MPV, the MG Windsor EV, at a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks MG’s entry into the electric MPV segment in India, offering a stylish and feature-packed option for customers seeking eco-friendly transportation.  

Design and Styling:

The MG Windsor EV boasts a modern and futuristic design, with sleek lines, LED lighting, and a spacious silhouette. The MPV’s dimensions are as follows:

The Windsor EV offers ample cabin space for up to six passengers, with comfortable seating and ample legroom in both the first and second rows. The rear seats can also be reclined for added comfort during long journeys.

The MPV supports fast charging, allowing it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.  

Battery Rental and Pricing:

MG has adopted a unique pricing strategy for the Windsor EV. The base price of Rs. 9.99 lakh includes the cost of the vehicle and a battery rental of Rs. 3.5 per km. This means that customers will pay an additional fee for using the battery, regardless of their annual mileage.  

Availability and Variants:

The MG Windsor EV is available in three variants:  

Excite: Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
Exclusive: Rs. 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom)
Super: Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Windsor EV is offered in four color options: Starry Black, Pearl White, Scarlet Red, and Sapphire Blue.
