The e Vitara seamlessly blends the ruggedness of an SUV with the sleekness of an electric vehicle. Its bold design, characterized by large-diameter tires, a long wheelbase, and a robust stance, reflects its adventurous spirit.
The interior, too, is equally impressive, boasting a futuristic cockpit with an integrated display and high-tech features.
The e Vitara is powered by an efficient BEV powertrain that combines an eAxle with lithium-iron-phosphate batteries. The e Vitara will be offered with two battery options – 49kWh and 61kWh. The batteries use LFP (lithium-iron-phosphate) ‘blade’ cells sourced by BYD and the larger 61kWh is expected to have a range of up to 550 km on a single full charge.
The European model will be available with two battery capacity options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. It will also offer both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations, catering to diverse driving needs.
The e Vitara is built on Suzuki’s new Heartect-e platform, which is specifically designed for BEVs. This platform prioritizes lightweight construction and efficient space utilization, maximizing battery capacity and passenger comfort.
Suzuki’s innovative AllGrip-e electric four-wheel-drive system is a key highlight of the e Vitara.
This system utilizes two independent eAxles to enhance stability and precision, especially on challenging terrains. The Trail mode, equipped with a limited-slip differential function (LSD), further improves traction and handling.
