BMR Brigadier

Bengaluru-based BMR EV has launched its two new electric motorcycles — the Brigadier and Brigadier RS.

In a bold move set to reshape India’s electric mobility space, BMR EV has unveiled the BMR Brigadier, a full-metal, fire-tested electric two-wheeler built for real-world Indian conditions—not just polished showrooms.

Unlike many lightweight EVs tailored for urban commutes, the Brigadier targets the backbone of India’s transport ecosystem: delivery riders, rural families, small businesses, and last-mile operators.

With a top speed of 80 km/h and a real-world range of 120 km per charge, this all-metal machine is designed to take a beating and keep going.

Priced at ₹1.35 lakhs (on-road, all-inclusive), the Brigadier comes packed with a 3-year warranty, AIS-156 certified waterproof lithium-ion battery, and nationwide service support.

“We didn’t build the Brigadier for showroom aesthetics,” said a BMR spokesperson. “We built it for the man who rides 100 km a day, hauls heavy loads, and can’t afford a breakdown.”

The Brigadier stands out in the crowded EV market with a full metal body, capable of handling 200 kg loads and surviving daily rides on rough terrain.

It’s equipped with a dual-power BLDC motor (3kW–4kW variable wattage), enabling speeds between 70–100 km/h, and runs on a 3 kWh removable lithium-ion battery that delivers a 120 km real-world range on a single charge. EV Charging takes just 4–5 hours.

Key features include:

  • Full metal body for heavy-duty use

  • High-speed certified performance with CMVR and AIS-156 approvals

  • Transparent servicing and spares policy trusted by dealers nationwide

The Brigadier promises monthly savings of ₹2,000–₹3,000 in fuel costs, making its EMI nearly self-sustaining—especially attractive for fleet operators and gig workers.
