Citroen and BluSmart are going to make India more cleaner and this comes with the stroke of their newest signed deal. BluSmart now possesses 7000 Electric cars. This deal will come to life in a year.
The initial phase of this partnership saw the flagging off of 125 Citroën ë-C3 vehicles from BluSmart’s EV charging superhub in Bengaluru, signifying the commencement of a transformative journey towards electrification.
The Citroën ë-C3, an all-electric compact SUV, is set to bolster BluSmart’s burgeoning fleet of over 7,000 EVs, enhancing their capacity to provide eco-friendly transportation solutions to the masses.
Expressing excitement, about this milestone collaboration, Shishir Mishra, Brand Director at Citroën India, expressed enthusiasm for the shared vision of a sustainable future driving this partnership. Mishra highlighted the importance of this venture in shaping a cleaner and greener transportation ecosystem, reinforcing Citroën’s commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship.
Anmol Jaggi, Co-founder and CEO of BluSmart emphasized the role of Assure (a unique opportunity for retail and institutional investors to contribute to the transition to eMobility) in enabling institutions to finance the purchase of EVs and lease them to BluSmart against fixed rentals, thereby fostering the adoption of electric vehicles on a larger scale.
Well, the company is lagging behind its most updated vision of 10,000 vehicles by the end of March 2024, they still have to add 3,000 more vehicles to their fleet.
One potential reason for this can be a lack of accountability in corporate governance practices and greater transparency.
As BluSmart navigates these challenges and charts a course toward sustainable growth, collaboration with industry leaders like Citroën holds the promise of unlocking new opportunities and driving innovation in the electric mobility landscape.
With a shared commitment to sustainability and innovation, Citroën and BluSmart are poised to shape the future of transportation and lead the charge towards a greener, more sustainable tomorrow.
