Ampere, a subsidiary of Greaves Electric Mobility, has launched its newest electric flagship scooter, the Ampere Nexus. This model, based on the Nxg concept unveiled at last year’s Auto Expo, has undergone extensive testing, including a remarkable cross-country journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. With the successful completion of this long-distance trek, the Ampere Nexus has now been poised for launch. Priced at an introductory price of Rs. 1,09,900 lakh, this scooter is ready to make its debut on the market. It will be available in 2 variants – Nexus ST and Nexus EX. The introductory price of Nexus EX is Rs. 1,09,900 and the price of Nexus ST is Rs. 119,900.
Let’s take a look at some of the key features of the Ampere Nexus:
DESIGN AND LOOKS
The Ampere Nexus boasts a suave and futuristic appearance, with a distinct premium appeal. Its frame is suspended on the telescopic fork and dual-shock absorbers, while braking duties are handled by a disc brake for the front wheel and a drum brake for the rear wheel. It has a hybrid swingarm and drivetrain design. Other highlights include the brightest LED headlight and tail light, with LED units also adorning the apron-mounted indicators.
