Tata Motors is growing its electric vehicle lineup in India, focusing on eco-friendly and accessible mobility solutions. The company recently launched the Tata Curvv EV, which has garnered significant attention.
Now the company is preparing to launch soon its next Electric Car, the much-awaited Tata Harrier EV.
Despite the camouflage, the test mule spotted in Madhya Pradesh revealed key design elements of the electric SUV. Here are some of the Key details of the design and interior of Tata Harrier EV :
Based on the images, the EV shares several design elements with its ICE counterpart while also incorporating features from the concept version. Notable design details include bi-LED projector headlamps, sequential LED DRLs, and LED fog lamps.
To distinguish it from the ICE version, the vehicle features a closed-off grille, a design choice common in Tata Motors’ EVs that are derived from ICE models.
Despite maintaining the same silhouette as the ICE version, the Tata Harrier EV stands out with a newly designed set of 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Apollo tires.
The EV also features conventional door handles, blacked-out pillars, and ORVMs, among other styling cues.
In a practical design choice, Tata Motors has placed the charging port on the left side of the vehicle, positioned just above the rear wheel, ensuring easy accessibility.
The sleek lines of the exterior, enhanced by the “Empowered White” color, show precision and efficiency. The wide DRLs provide a modern and welcoming look, while the turbine-style wheels improve aerodynamics.
These design changes reflect the brand’s effort to balance familiarity with modern EV-specific features.

Inside, the Harrier EV features a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complemented by standard elements like AC vents and a center console.
Additionally, the brand is expected to offer features such as ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof to enhance the overall experience.
