Mahindra today recently unveiled the new Mahindra XUV400 Pro range, calling potential buyers by offering prices ranging from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 17.49 lakh, applicable until May 31, 2024. Bookings for this latest offering will commence at 2 pm tomorrow, pre-booking amount payment of Rs 21,000.
So let’s have a look at the features of this new offering in the market.
The EC Pro model is equipped with a 34.5kWh battery, while its higher-spec counterpart, the EL Pro, boasts a larger 39.4kWh battery. Mahindra claims an impressive 375km range for the EC Pro and an even more substantial 456km for the EL Pro, both measured on the MIDC cycle. Charging options include a faster 7.2kW AC charger exclusively for the EL Pro, with a standard 3.3kW AC charger available on both trims.
Under the hood, both variants feature a front axle-mounted electric motor, delivering a robust 150hp and 310Nm of torque. The braking system remains consistent with disc brakes on all four wheels, complemented by regenerative braking. To tailor the driving experience, three distinct drive modes are at your disposal. While the mechanical aspects stay unchanged, the Mahindra XUV400 Pro’s electric prowess ensures a reliable and efficient ride, making strides in the realm of sustainable mobility.
The XUV400 has undergone a noteworthy transformation with its primary update centering around a new 10.25-inch floating touchscreen. This change, however, demanded significant changes in the older version dashboard.
AC vents can now be assessed with the touchscreen, moving away from the age-old model where ACs are located on the sides. The HVAC panel boasts a fresh design, adopting two rotary dials instead of a large central one, accompanied by a new digital MID and revised switchgear.
Inside, the all-black interior has given way to a sophisticated black-and-beige dual-tone theme. A glossy black garnish adorns the passenger side of the dashboard, complementing the retained subtle copper accents. The steering wheel takes on a new flat-bottom design, featuring an all-new 10.25-inch digital screen.
The XUV400 Pro now incorporates the Adrenox software seen in the XUV700, this is in a true sense value for money. Additional features include dual-zone climate control with a memory function, wireless phone charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa connectivity, rear USB ports, rear AC vents, etc.
Despite narrowing the gap to the new Nexon EV, the Tata model still outshines with features like ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, 360-degree cameras, full-width LED light bands, and a larger infotainment screen on the top-spec variant.
Interestingly, Mahindra will continue selling the new Pro range alongside the existing trims. A captivating feature of the lineup is the introduction of the Nebula Blue color for the XUV400, enhancing its visual appeal. The launch is poised to make waves, offering a blend of enhanced features and established reliability in the XUV400 Pro range.
